Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizing requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Communicating, translating and simplifying business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
  • Evaluating change suggestions and identifying solutions that will help the company achieve its goals.
  • Discovering, organizing and clarifying business needs and reviewing and determining specifications for change.
  • Working with the Technical Analyst and development team to ensure they understand the specifications.
  • Work with the training team to document system scenarios and identify affected roles to help develop a change management/training plan.
  • Conducting business process modeling and creating feasible scenarios for the technology functional testing team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience in finance and payment projects.
  • Exceptional ability to position and “sell” reasonable, actionable, and cost-effective solutions, including the ability to accurately measure requirements and determine the appropriate solution.
  • Forward-thinking and resourceful to cut through red tape and ensure solutions are implemented and requirements are closed appropriately.
  • Ability to problem solve and apply methodologies such as Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Rational Unified Process (RUP), prepare detailed specifications using case statements and related documentation.
  • Soft skills that include the ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders and communicate changes that may not be in line with original expectations.
  • Appropriate requirements specification and development knowledge such as process/functional requirements definition methods, common and rapid application development sessions, use case development, process flow diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Prioritizing the product backlog based on research and pain points or changing the direction of the product in response to market changes. This is an ongoing activity with the Product Team.
  • Writing clear user stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • To determine and guide the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  • Conducting benchmark analysis for the product.
  • Preparing a release plan with the product team and obtaining approval from stakeholders. Reconsidering the plan when necessary.
  • Directing the development of prototypes and testing ideas with users (for example, using A/B testing techniques).
  • Being familiar with Atlassian products.
  • Being proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Having strong time management and discipline.

  • IIBA-CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
  • PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PSM I (Professional Scrum Master I)
  • PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner)
